We hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! We are winding down from a wonderful weekend with food, friends, and family. Lynn and Ben arrived on Friday and we were able to have a lovely weekend together and a delicious Thanksgiving meal on Saturday. Caroline and Lotta were unable to come because Kira had the chicken pox...bummer! We also truly enjoyed catching up with family via Skype throughout the weekend. We feel so lucky to have Skype as a resource while we are far away from "home". Thank you so much to our loving family for making the effort to chat with us! We are grateful and so lucky to have you in our lives!
Enjoy the Thanksgiving pictures below...
| Greg and Wyn, having a snuggle. Wyn's been getting super exhausted and putting herself to sleep on the floor. It's really cute. |
| Rolling out the pie dough...Grandma G's recipe, thank you very much! I told Wyn all about the pie crust cookies we used to have. We didn't have any here because it was 7am... |
| Wyn and Ben rolling out pizza dough. The beginning of their courtship. |
| Notice Wyn's HUGE smile. We thought this whole thing would be a problem because she's been so excited about COUSIN Ben, but adult Ben seemed to be a very nice substitute :) |
| Greg, Lynn, Wyn, and Ben hanging out on Thanksgiving Saturday. |
| Here is some of our Thanksgiving yumminess! We had turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy (made by Ben), green been casserole, corn casserole, stuffing, cranberry-apple relish, pumpkin pie, whipped cream (made by Lynn) and Glögg. Yummy! |
| Enjoying the feast :) |
| Greg, Lynn, and Ben enjoying the dessert. Wyn had just gone to bed...she was toast after a long and glorious day. |
| One of MANY Wyn "selfies" taken this weekend. She has discovered the camera and was having a blast taking photos. Mostly she tried to take pictures of Ben and Tilly but took them of herself. |
| Token Tilly shot. |
| Me, Wyn, and pony lady. We went to the Christmas market at Kulturen on Sunday and had a blast. Here is Wyn riding the pony. She LOVED it! It was SO cute to see her looking around proudly as she went in a circle. She did NOT want to get off. |
| Wyn and I enjoying a marching band going through the streets of Lund. One of the musicians broke ranks and gave Wyn a wave :) |
