Checking off the Munich Bucket List

Here are TONS of pictures from a very lovely weekend. We realized our days in Munich are dwindling so we've been trying to experience as much as possible before we go. This weekend we headed to the Alps, taking the BOB train to Lenggries and going up Brauneck. The route was suggested by our "wandern mit Kinderwagon" book, but the route was decidedly not stroller friendly...a bit too steep...so we enjoyed a FANTASTIC view and had a picnic lunch :) On Sunday we checked out the Streetlife Festival with Kristin and Brett. The main portion of Leopoldstrasse was shut down for food, shopping, and other events. By far the strangest thing we saw was pole dancing...in the middle of the street!...no pictures were taken, this is a family-friendly blog!

 Greg and Wyn on the BOB train. Wyn LOVED it...she flirted with everyone she saw. The train ride was so great because there were people from all walks of life out to enjoy the beautiful day. There were older people, young families, and a group of college guys with a case of beer. Can you guess who Wyn flirted with most?

 Going up the bergbahn WITH the kinderwagon. Not for the faint of heart...Dad, you never would have made it. We thought we were at the top and proceeded to go over a valley and head to a higher peak. Gorgeous, but I had a heart attack. Greg and Wyn loved it.

 Picnic lunch on the side of the path. GORGEOUS view, but too steep to use the picnic blanket...also too steep for Wyn's exploratory nature.

 Wyn LOVED the cows that were everywhere. She kept pointing and saying "Wow!" and "Ohhh!". Super cute. She probably could have stayed there all day.

 Hard to tell in this, but Wyn loves to climb on the U-bahn and flirt and wave to the patrons. Here she is mid flirty wave.

 HUGE love of music in this household. Now Wyn giggles and dances whenever she hears a beat that she like. It's awesome. The shot is blurry because she's dancing so much.
