Pumpakväll

We headed to "Pumpakväll" Wednesday evening at one of our local gardening shops. It was really cute! Caroline called and booked us a pumpkin and we got to work. Pumpkin carving and Halloween in general is something that is slowly becoming popular in Sweden. It was fun to have this as a neighborhood event. Wyn posed for the first photo below, but was basically uninterested. She is, generally, a bit squeamish about getting dirty. (did I ever post how she refused to get paint on her hands for the class project involving hand prints? The whole project has cute little hand prints then an outline of Wyn's hands with a splash of paint in there. Hilarious and adorable). Anyway, Wyn didn't really want to touch the pumpkins, but she proceeded to use almost an entire pack of wipes wiping down everything in sight. It was hilarious and all in all a fun evening. I'll take a photo of our finished product on the doorstep sometime this weekend :)

Wyn, Kira, Caroline, and Greg...all busy carving pumpkins. Actually, here you can see the bags of wipes on the left and Wyn wiping down the pumpkin. Hahaha!
