Hey all! Here is another update during Mom and Dad's visit. There are a TON of photos to share, so it's probably easier to just go straight to those. We had a really great weekend in Stockholm with Mom and Dad and are grateful for the birthday trip. We were able to see a lot and have more on our list for whenever we go back. It sure is a beautiful city, and a HUGE change from Dalby!

| Hanging out waiting for breakfast. |
| Silliness the day after Mom and Dad headed to Stockholm. |
| Greg and Wyn snoozing on the train ride up. It was only 4 hours, very cool! Definitely bumpy and quick though, so a bit sick-inducing for me. |
| Greg, the birthday girl, and Tilly enjoying the ride. Wyn's birthday is the same day as the Swedish Cinnamon Bun (kanelbulle) day...VERY convenient! I think we each had at least 3 that day. Mums! |
| Wyn showing Tilly the view as the sun rises over Sweden. |
| Grandma and Grandpa are here, too! This is along a pedestrian shopping street, on the way to Gamla Stan. Our hotel was very nice and right by the train station so it was extremely convenient to drop our things and head out into the world. |
| Wyn playing on the train. |
| More silliness on the train. |
| Crossing the bridge to Gamla Stan. Very windy and extremely beautiful. We we so lucky with the weather during our trip! |
| One of the many spectacular views from a bridge in Stockholm. Once we arrived it was easy to see why they call it the Venice of the North. |
| Taking the bus to Skansen (home of Allsång på Skansen, Sweden's signalong concert held every week during the summer). A bit of a rainy morning the second day, but still exciting. Wyn loved checking out all the boats and busses on the way. |
| Mom and Dad were excellent tour guides, having been there for two days before we arrived. They knew all the pertinent city facts from their Hop-on, Hop-off tour. How useful! |
| Family shot on the bridge to Skansen. Check out that coat, Mom2! |
| Gorgeous view from the top of Skansen. It is located on just one of the many islands in Stockholm and it's got an animal park, neat little huts, and other cool artifacts from all around the country. The island also has some really cool museums...including an old ship museum that we missed, a really cool Pippy Longstocking museum, and...the ABBA museum!!! |
| Greg and Wyn being silly on the snake slide. |
| Loving a goat. Wyn said "mehh!!!" the whole time. |
| Dad taking a photo of some of the neatly labeled rocks for Allie :) |
| With Prancer gone, there's nothing left for me in this town! |
| Family shot. |
| Spending some time with the Dala horses. |
| Being silly outside of the ABBA museum. Unfortunately (not for Greg), it was way too crowded so we have to save it for next time. Don't you LOVE Dad's pose? |
| Playing near the ship museum. I love this picture. |
| Love shot :) |
| We were trying to get a shot of Stockholm and show how excited we all were about it. It just looks like we are excited about a white background. |
| Wyn was so excited that she fell asleep. |
| Partying in the hotel room. Greg bought Wyn three really cool books...one with Swedish Folk Tales, one little Swedish one about colors, and one in English telling the story of the little train ride we took in the Pippy Longstocking museum. |
| Yes, yet another lovely view. |
| Having fika in Gamla Stan. Wyn had probably the best hot chocolate I have ever had in my life. |
| This photo is very misleading...all LOOKS fine, but Wyn is about to totally lose it. Poor little thing was exhausted and too excited to fall asleep so she totally let loose on all of us for the train ride home. She sure looks cute and snuggly here though :) |
Loving all of the pics! Hahaha- the ABBA museum pic totally cracks me up. Jenny, your parents are HOT!!!!!! I have decided that we need a snake slide here in OK! Looks like it totally rocks!!!!
