To indirectly celebrate Mom's birthday, Jenny and I decided to go out for dinner and a movie last night. We planned to go to our favorite Indian restaurant, Natraj, and then hit up the sneak preview at Cinema München. We had an absolute fabulous time!
We sat outside at Natraj, and we initially made an order, but our waiter said that instead he could make some similar-ish dishes, but as new recipes not even on the menu. Needless to say, the food was fantastic! We are going back next week with some friends, and we told our waiter that we would just have him place our order for us. :)
The sneak preview at the Cinema is always exciting since you don't know what the movie will be until it starts. We were very excited when we found out that the movie was Hanna. It's basically a psycological thriller about a girl and her father hiding/running from the CIA. The story and acting (and action -- never seen a 14 year old girl beat so many bad guys up!) were excellent. Jenny and I both very much enjoyed it. We also really liked the soundtrack -- listening to it now :) --, which was composed by the electronica group, The Chemical Brothers.
Anyway, we hope everyone had a nice evening as well!
Yay! Glad you had a fabulous date night! You will have to get in many of those before the baby comes (and make sure to plan for them after the little one arrives)! Derek and I really enjoy our date days on days off from work when we can get them!
